Arenal is home to the union of several different ecosystems that create a transition from vegetation with high biodiversity for a great diversity of birds, mammals, butterflies and more. See them all up close from the hanging bridges. We also visit the hot springs, with beautiful views of the Arenal Volcano.

Arenal plays a large role in Costa Rica’s power production. Lake Arenal, which rests at the base of the Arenal Volcano, supplies 12 percent of the country’s hydroelectric energy.  Arenal Hanging Bridges Park houses the coming together of several different ecosystems that create a transition of vegetation with high biodiversity for a high diversity of  birds, mammals, butterflies, and more. Watch all of them closely from the hanging bridges. Also we visit the hot springs, with nice views to the Arenal Volcano.
