We will take a tour of the Tempisque River by boat where we will observe different types of birds such as Curassows, Scarlet Macaws, White Ibis, Roseate Spoonbills,anhingas, jabirus and wood storks, among many others, as well as monkeys and crocodiles. The park protected one of the most threatened ecosystems, it is one of the last dry tropical forests that once covered most of Central America.

We will have lunch at a ranch where they prepare food over firewood, we will take a tour of the Sandpits of the river where people from the area go to the river to collect sand that is used for construction.
